ISOT展示会でSM・LT Artのboothにて魅力的な製品をあれこれ試した
東京ビックサイトでのフェアに出展するリトアニアの紙製品の会社SM・LT Artさんよりお誘いを受けてISOTの展示会に数名のUSk Japanのメンバーで訪ねてきました。
ブース内は魅力的な製品が並べられていて、それぞれユニークなデザイン、フォーマットがあり説明を受ける間もワクワク。さらに、どれでも使ってみたい製品を試してみて良いとの気前の良さ！なのでそれぞれが描いてみたいと思うものを手にして描き始めました。
We USk Japan was asked to come and visit the booth of SM・LT Art( a Lithuanian paper company) at ISOT fair held in Tokyo Big Sight. There we were offered to try various their products right on location! We were so excited to see their lovely unique notes, pads, albums, and ofcourse to draw on them! We were just like kids in a toy shop, started to pick one then drew on it.
私が最初に手にしたのはwatercolor sketch albumというスクエアの小型のスケッチブックです。
同じ紙で作られていてサイズや枚数の違うシリーズがありますが、この表紙のイラストのものが同じ紙であるとわかります。
My first choice is this. A tiny square watercolor album. It is so handy and has lovely iconic color and illustration on the cover.
次に手にしたのは100％リサイクルして作られた水彩パッド。こちらも絵の具の染み込み方が気持ちよく使いやすい紙で気に入りました。
My second choice was an A4 watercolor pad ( 100% recicled). I enjoyed and loved the texture and its way of absorbance of wash.
さらにProfessional quality Acrylic paperというA3の最も厚い紙(420坪量)のパッドも使わせていただきました。真っ白で、いろいろなメディアと組み合わせて大胆に描いても良さげなしっかりとした紙です。
my third choice was an A3 Professional quality Acrylic paper. I'm sure this thick paper will suit any mixed media use.
こんなにいろいろな表現、画材に応じたバリエーションのある商品を一度に試せるのはとても貴重でありがたい機会でした。こんな場を設けていただけて感謝です。
さらに閉会後にはたくさんの商品を提供いただき、手分けして持ち帰ることに。それらは今後多くの方に使っていただく機会を設ける方向で動く予定です。今後のUSk Japanのイベントにご期待ください。
Certainly this was super generous and rare occasion given to us to try so many kind of papers at one time! We really appreciate this experience and to have items. Moreover their generosity extended to offer us more their products. So we brought them separatedly. We are going to make chance to other people to try these product through our sketch event in the future.
